4.7 Talking about your age
Age is another example where
you use "tener" in spanish and the verb "To be" in English.
In Spanish: "Tengo ________ años"
In English: "I am __________ years old."
Examples
Question: "How old are you?"
Answer: "I am 30 years old." or "I am 30, too!"
Question: "How old is she?" or "how old is your daughter?"
Answer: "She is 4 years old." or "My daughter is 4 years old."

Game: How old am I?
- one student stands at the front of the classroom and asks their classmates, "How old am I?"
- The classmates guess by saying "are you _______ years old?"
- The student responds "no, I am younger/older"
- When the class guesses the right age, the student says "yes, I am ____ years old".
